Shvet Capsule is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Shree Dhanwantri Herbals. It is mainly used in treatment of Leucorrhoea, Irregular menstruation.
Shvet Capsule Ingredients:
Ashoka Ghana – Saraca asoca – 50 mg – Widely used in gynecological disorders such as heavy bleeding, white discharge, tumors etc
Lodhra Ghana – Symplocos racemosa – 50 mg – It is extensively used in female gynaecological disorders like heavy periods, white discharge (leucorrhoea) etc
Kukkutanda Twak Bhasma – ash of egg shell – 50 mg – It is a rich source of calcium and helpful to improve bone density, used in leucorrhoea etc
Sphatika Bhasma – 50 mg – Used in menorrhagia, low back pain, abdominal pain etc
Mayaphala – Quercus infectoria – 50 mg
Mayi – 50 mg
Mocharasa – Gum extract of Shalmali – Salmalia malabarica – 50 mg
Nagakesara – Mesua ferrea – 50 mg
Kamarakas – Butea frondosa – 12.5 mg

How long to take?
This medicine can be taken for a period of 6 – 8 weeks as per doctors advice. After that time, usually the dose is gradually reduced and the medicine is stopped in next 6 weeks of time.

Can this product be taken along with Allopathic medicines (English medicines)?
It may react with some medicines. Consult your doctor for the right advice. When English and Ayurvedic medicines are advised together, it is best to take English medicine first, give a gap of half an hour and then take Ayurvedic medicines.
Can it be used in people with diabetes?
Yes. But an eye should be kept on the blood sugar level. Your doctor should help you in this regard. This product can alter blood sugar levels.
