Gid Capsule: Uses, Dose, Ingredients, Side effects

Gid Capsule improves digestive function, corrects and treats dyspeptic syndrome. It is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Capro Labs Exports India Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore. Gastro-intestinal disorders occur due to inadequate or improper diet, hyper-acidity, emotional stress etc.
Gid offers an exceptionally safe medication without habit formation.

An antacid and anti-flatulent
Improves digestive function
Relieves constipation.
Provides anthelmintic action
Improves appetite.
Tones up liver function.
Corrects and treats dyspeptic syndrome.

Indication

Indication of Gid Capsule:
Duodenal ulcer – Kusta rogas
Gastro-intestinal disturbances – Anthragata rogas
Constipation – Malabaddhatha
Hepatic disorders – Yakrit vikara

Composition

Composition of Gid Capsule:
Each 500 mg capsule contains-
Lashuna-pulp (Allium sativum)- 46 mg
Musta-tuber (Cyperus rotendus)- 45 mg
Hinguvachadi choorna – 45 mg
Panchalavana choorna – 45 mg
Chavika-fruit (Piper cubeba)- 45 mg
Pippali-fruit (Piper longum)- 91 mg
Chitraka-panchanga (Plumbago zeylanica)- 46 mg
Triphala choorna – 46 mg
Shunti-rhizome (Zingiber officinale)- 91 mg.

Dose

Dosage of Gid Capsule:
2 capsules thrice daily with fat free butter milk, or as directed by the physician.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
