Inflanil Capsules – Benefits, Dosage, Ingredients, Side Effects

Inflanil Capsules is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine, manufactured by Mukthi Pharma, Trivendrum. It is used in the treatment for promoting healing in fractured bones.

Indication

Indication:
As per the claims of manufacturer, it is indicated in Ayurvedic treatment for promoting healing in fractured bones, relieves inflammation and swelling due to injury, osteoarthritis.
Post viral fever, when the patient complains of body, muscle and joint pains
Bursitis,  
Bursitis trochanterica,
Shoulder dislocation pain

Dose and duration of use

Inflanil Capsules Dose:
2 capsules, two times a day after food, or as directed by physician.

How long to take? 
It can be taken for upto 2 – 3 months, based on doctor’s advice.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Each capsule contains
20 mg each of 
Punarnava – Spreading Hogweed – Boerhaavia diffusa
Nimba – Neem – Azadirachta indica
Patola – snake gourd – Trichosanthes cucumerica / Trichosanthes dioica
Guduchi – Indian Tinospora (stem) – Tinospora cordifolia
Haritaki – Chebulic Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia chebula
Gokshura – Small caltrops (whole plant) – Tribulus terrestris Linn.
10 mg each of 
Shunti – Ginger Rhizome – Zingiber officinalis
Brihati – Indian Nightshade (root) – Solanum indicum
Laksha – Laccifer lacca – 40 mg
Guggulu – Indian bedelium (gum resin) – Commiphora mukul  – 200 mg
Pravala Bhasma – Bhasma (Calx) of Coral – 120 mg

Side effects and precautions

Side effects and precautions: 
Children, pregnant ladies and lactating mothers should take this medicine only under medical supervision.
over-dosage may cause gastric irritation.
Store in a cool dry place.
Use this medicine only till the prescribed time, in the prescribed dose only.
