How to use Bhringamalakadi Tailam?
It is used to apply over scalp. It is also used for Shiro Abhyanga – head massage
It can be used in place of your regular hair oil.
How to wash off the hair oil?
Wait for at least 30 minutes before washing hair. Longer the delay, better (except for very oily hairs). It is best to use herbal hair wash powders to wash off the hair oil. One or two rounds of wash with hair wash powder will get rid off oil from hair. It is very fine, even if some amount of oiliness remains on the hair.
Traditional treatises mention cold water to wash hair and face. (Reference: Ashtanga Sangraha, Sutrasthana, Dinacharya chapter). But to wash oily hair, lukewarm water can also be used. Avoid very hot water for hair wash.
Side Effects
People with sinusitis may feel worsening of symptoms with this oil, if it is made with coconut oil base.
This oil, if prepared with coconut oil base is called Bhringamalakadi Kerathailam

Hi, first, dandruff needs to be controlled and scalp skin health needs to be improved. Hence, Dhurdhurapatradi taila would be good.
Once after dandruff is under control, then Bhringamalakadi tailam should be good to use.
Please also note that much of the hair fall treatment, in your case, is dependent upon effective thyroid hormone control. Hence, please consult a doctor in person.

you can use this oil by heating the vessel of oil by keeping it in boiling water and then apply over the scalp leave it for an hour or 2 and wash it off. it will avoid sinus problem. or you can also try malathyadi, dardhurapatradi tailam.
