Arjit Liniment: Uses, Dose, Ingredients, Side effects

Arjit Liniment ensures painless free mobility and relieves inflammation. It is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufacture by Capro Labs Exports India Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore. The oil also plays major role in treatment of disease along with systemic drugs. So, Arjit is available in convenient Liniment form to provide relief from pain and inflammation.

Efficacy of Arjit Liniment:
Has an effective analgesic and anti-inflammatory action.
Formulated as per ancient Ayurvedic prescription
It is safe and non-irritant to the skin.
It is non-staining.

Indication

Indication of Arjit Liniment:
Arthritis – Sandhivata
Osteo-arthritis – Sandhigata vata
Lumbago – Katishoola
Joint pain – Sandhi shoola
Cervical spondylitis – Greevasthambha
Muscular inflammation and pain – Mamsagata shotha
Bursitis,  
Bursitis trochanterica,
Shoulder dislocation pain
Post viral fever, when the patient complains of body, muscle and joint pains

Composition

Composition of Arjit Liniment:
Each 5 ml contains-
Kokilaksha (Asteracantha longifolia)- 2 g
Astavarga kwatha choorna [Bala sahacharadi kwatha choorna] – 2 g
Mahayogaraja guggulu – 3 g
Maharasnadi kwatha choorna – 3 g
Kattrna taila (Cymbopogon citratus)- q.s.
Tila taila (Sesamum indicum)- q.s.

Direction for use

Direction for use of Arjit Liniment:
5-10 drops or more of Arjit liniment to be applied on the affected part, spread uniformly and rub gently. To be applied repeatedly 3-4 times a day, or as directed by the physician.

Side effects, package

Side effects of Arjit Liniment:
There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
For external use only

Pack of 30 ml, 60 ml & 100 ml.

During pregnancy, lactation

If you were using this oil before pregnancy without any allergic reaction, you can continue using this oil even during pregnancy.
If you have not used this product before and wish to use it during pregnancy, better to consult a doctor because it can cause skin allergy in some rare cases.
It is generally considered as safe to use during lactation, however consult your doctor for the right advice.

Can this product be applied after steam therapy?
No. Oil is best applied before steam therapy. This is as per basic Ayurvedic principles.
