Lavangadi Vati is a tablet, used in Ayurvedic treatment of cough, cold and allergic respiratory conditions. Clove is the main ingredient of this medicine.
Lavangadi Vati tablet uses: It is used in Ayurvedic treatment of productive and non productive cough, cold and allergic rhinitis.
Effect on Tridosha – balances Vata and Kapha.
Lavangadi Vati dosage: 1 – 2 tablets 2 – 3 times a day, before or after food or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.
How long to use?
It can be used for a period of 3- 6 months.
Lavangadi Vati side effects:
Over dosage may cause slight burning sensation in stomach.
Keep out of reach and sight of children. Store in cool dry place.
Lavangadi Vati ingredients, how to make:
Lavanga – Clove – Syzigium aromaticum – 10 g
Maricha – Black pepper – Piper nigrum – 10 g
Aksha – Belliric Myrobalan fruit rind – Terminalia bellirica – 10 g
Sara of Khadira – Black Catechu (heart wood extract) – Acacia catechu – 30 g
Water decoction of Babbula – Acacia Arabica – Quantity Sufficient.
Fine powder of above ingredients is triturated with the decoction, a semisolid paste is made, pills are prepared.
