  1. Sir, want to know which brand I can trust. Also, from Baidyanath Stable there are two versions. One is Kumariasava No 1 & the other one is Kumariasava no 3 which contains swarnmakshik bhasm in addition to the standard Kumariasava No 1.Is there any real benefit from Kumariasava No 3. Kumariasava no 1 is manufactured by various manufacturing companies but not Kumariasava No 3.

    • Hi, there are three varieties of Kumaryasava. I will write about it in detail sometime. Regarding brand – AVP, Baidyanath, Dabur, AVN, Kottakkal, Sandu etc are good. Wrote those which came to my mind at this moment. Does not mean that other brands are bad.

  11. It is commented by Dr. Shishira that Kumaryasavam can be used for improving fistula. Is it correct? Doubt arises because of the reason that this formulation contains iron which has a property to worsen constipation.

  14. Hi, sir I have fibroid in uterus, should I take this or not ? Becouse it make self alcohol approx 10% and alcohol is the reason of to increase fibroid.

    Reply
    • Hi, if it is prescribed by your doctor, then you can take it
Daily intake of 20 – 30 ml per day would mean that the alcohol content entering the body is only ~2 – 3 ml per day, which does not cause any increase in fibroid.

  24. Hello Doctor,

I am 47 years Old suffering from Hyperacidity, GERD (Acide Reflux) since last few years and received H-Pylori treatment before and now it has aggravated with Rhinosinusitis. The moment I eat/drink water, especially post lunch feel bloating/flautulance along with nasal obstruction as if something is struck behind my Nasal bone with headache in my temples of head.

Is it advisable to take Kumari Asava for above narrated issue? since it was advised by one of Ayurveda Doctors before which gave me some relief earlier when I was suffering from acute acidity issues.

    Best Regards,
