Aruna Syrup is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Ayurvedashramam. It is a uterine tonic. and useful in peri-menopausal symptoms.

Ingredients of Aruna Syrup:
- Asoka [Saraca indica] – 36 %
- Usheera – Vetliver – 4 %
- Jambu [Syzygium cumini] – 4 %
- Manipassupu – 4 %
- Paribhadra [Erythrina variegata] – 4 % – Side Effects Paribhadra, Erythrina variegata or indica is also called Indian coral tree. It is used for treating intestinal worms, anorexia, cholesterol imbalance etc.
- Gokshura [Tribulus terrestris] – 4 %
- Bilwa [Aegle marmelos] – 4 %
- Manjista [Rubia cordifolia] – 4 %
- Chandana [Santalum album] – 4 %
- Bruhmadandi – 4 %
- Thokamiryalu – 4 %
- Jatamamsi [Nardostachys jatamansi] – 2 % – Jatamansi is a famous Ayurvedic herb used in neuro-psychiatric diseases and skin diseases. It is called as spikenard in English. Its botanical name is Nardostachys jatamansi DC. Its reference in Ayurveda is found since the times of Charaka and Sushruta.

Uses
Indication of Aruna Syrup:
Heavy bleeding during periods, shortened menstrual cycle (once in 3 weeks)
Checks infertility
Pain free normal cycles
Trouble free menopause
Rectifies uterine dysfunction.
Dose, duration of use
Dosage of Aruna Syrup: 10 ml twice daily, or as directed by the physician.
How long to use?
It can be safely used for a period of 2 – 3 months time, with gradual decrease in dosage.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
Side effects, package, shelf life
Side effects of Aruna Syrup:
There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
This product is not suitable for people with low menstrual flow or delayed periods.
This product is not suitable for people with diabetes, since it is made with sugar syrup base.
Store in a cool dry place, in an air tight container, away from direct sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.

Shelf life or expiration date: 3 years from the date of manufacture.
