Agrigold cough Syrup is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Agrigold Pharmaceuticals. It is used in the treatment of cough.
Ingredients
Ingredients of Agrigold Cough Syrup:
Each 5 ml contains-
- Tulasi [Ocimum sanctum] – 250 mg – Holy Basil is a good anti tussive and bronchodilator herb. Useful to relieve cough and cold
- Nilgiri [Eucalyptus globulus] – 150 mg – Eucalyptus
- Kantakari [Solanum xanthocarpum] – 200 mg – Kantakari is a very useful Ayurvedic herb, used widely in the treatment of cough, cold, asthma and such other respiratory tract conditions. It is one among Dashamoola – group of ten roots.
- Pippali [Piper longum] – 75 mg – Long pepper
- Maricha [Piper nigrum] – 75 mg – Black pepper
- Vasa [Adathoda vasica] – Vasa – Adhatoda vasica / Malabar nut is one the powerful herbs used in treating asthma, bronchitis and excess mucous condition.
Indication
Indication of Agrigold Cough Syrup:
- Productive cough
- Dry cough
- Bronchitis
- Asthmatic cough
- Tubercular cough
- Smoker’s cough.
Dose
Dosage of Agrigold Cogh Syrup:
5 ml 3-4 times a day.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Side effects of Agrigold Cough Syrup:
- There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
- Safe in children, pregnancy & lactation.
- It is not suitable for people with diabetes.
- Store in a cool dry place, in an air tight container.
