As per the claims of manufacturer, it is indicated in Ayurvedic treatment of Hyper acidity, peptic ulcer and associated gastric disorders.

Protekt Tablets Dose:
Adults: – 1 – 2 tablets chewed 2 – 3 times a day.
Children – ½ to 1 tablet – chewed 2 – 3 times a day.

How long to take?
It can be taken for upto 2 – 4 weeks, based on doctor’s advice.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Haridra – Turmeric – Curcuma longa – 25.000 mg
Haritaki – Chebulic myrobalan – Terminalia chebula – 25.000 mg – It has anti-ulcerogenic, gastro-protective activity. It helps to ease bowel movement.
Amalaki – Gooseberry – Emblica officinalis – 25.000 mg
Nimba – Neem – Azadirachta indica – 3. 000 g – Helps to cleanse and heal wounds quickly.
Buffer and Binding material – Q.S.
Side effects and precautions
Side effects:
There are no known side effects with this medicine, however, it is best to take this medicine under medical supervision.
Special precaution is needed while prescribing this medicine to children, pregnant and lactating mothers.
