As per the claims made by the manufacturer, it is indicated in Ayurvedic treatment of nervous debility, malnutrtion, anaemia, nervous exhaustion, osteo arthritis.

Dose and duration of use
Herbofit Syrup Dose:
1 – 2 teaspoonful, three times a day or as directed by physician.
children – half teaspoonful, three times a day, or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.
How long to take?
It can be taken for upto 2-3 months based on doctor’s advice.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Ela – Cardamom – Elettaria cardamomum – 20 mg
Shatavari – Asparagus racemosus – 200 mg
Shatapushpa – Indian Dill (fruit) – Anethum sowa / Peucedanum graveolens – 100 mg
Amalaki -Indian Gooseberry- Emblica officinalis / Phyllanthus emblica – 200 mg
Yashtimadhu – Licorice – Glycyrrhiza glabra – 100 mg
Jatamamsi – Nardostachys jatamansi – 100 mg
Chitraka – Plumbago zeylanica – 100 mg
Guduchi – Indian Tinospora (stem) – Tinospora cordifolia – 70 mg
Chandana – Sandalwood – Santalum album – 50 mg
Musta – Nut grass (root) – Cyperus rotundus – 50 mg
Bala – Country mallow (seed) – Sida cordifolia – 30 mg
Jatiphala – Nutmeg (fruit) – Myristica fragrans – 20 mg

Side effects and precautions:
It contains sugar, hence may not be suitable for diabetic people.
keep out of reach and sight of children.
Store in a cool dry place.
Special precaution is needed while prescribing this medicine to children, pregnant and lactating mothers.
Take this medicine only till the prescribed time, in the prescribed dose only.
