Herbollin Tablet – Benefits, Dosage, Ingredients, Side Effects

Herbollin Tablet is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine, manufactured by Ajmera Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. Indore. It is used in the treatment of tonsillitis, sinusitis UTRI etc.  

Uses and effect on dosha

Herbollin Tablet uses: As per the claims made by the manufacturer, it is indicated in Ayurvedic treatment of Upper respiratory tact infections, otorrhoea, Sinusitis, Tonsillitis, Allergic conditions, Eczema, Infective dermatitis, wounds and boils.

Effect on Tridosha – Balances Vata and Kapha.

Dose and duration of use

Herbollin Tablet Dose: 
1-2 tablets 3 times a day, before or after food as directed by physician.

How long to take? 
It can be taken for upto 1 – 2 months, based on doctor’s advice.

With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Tulasi – Holy Basil – Ocimum sanctum – 50 mg,
Nimba – Neem – Azadirachta indica – 50 mg,
Amalki – Phylla nthus emblica – 30 mg,
Manjishta – Indian Madder (root) – Rubia cordifolia – 20 mg
Kushta – Saussurea lappa – 20 mg,
Guduchi – Indian Tinospora (stem) – Tinospora cordifolia – 50 mg,
Daruharidra – Tree turmeric (stem) – Berberis aristata – 50 mg,
Haridra – Turmeric Rhizome – Curcuma longa  – 50 mg,
Trikatu – Pepper, long pepper and ginger – 20 mg,
Yashti – Licorice – Glycyrrhiza glabra – 20 mg,
Maharasnadi quath 80 mg – a traditional Ayurvedic Medicine
Katuki – Picrorhiza kurroa – 10 mg

Side effects and precautions

Side effects and precautions: 
This medicine should be taken only under strict medical supervision.
Over-dosage or taking medicine for a longer period of time, than prescribed may cause gastric irritation.
keep out of reach and sight of children.
Store in a cool dry place.
It is best to avoid taking this to children, pregnant and lactating mothers.
Take this medicine only till the prescribed time, in the prescribed dose only.
