Dayal Jiwan Syrup is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine, manufactured by Dindayal Industries Ltd, Gwalior. It is used in the treatment of indigestion, vomiting etc in children.

Dayal Jiwan Syrup uses: It is indicated in Ayurvedic treatment of teething problems, indigestion, diarrhoea, pain abdomen, irritability, loss of appetite, dyspepsia, vomiting and nausea in children.
Effect on Tridosha – Balances Pitta and Vata.
Dose and duration of use
Dayal Jiwan Syrup Dose:
- Children – 1 week to 3 month s- 5 drops 2 – 3 times a day.
- 3 months to 1 year – quarter to half teaspoonful, 2 – 3 times a day
- 1 – 3 years – half to one teaspoonful, 2 – 3 times a day.
- above three years – 1 – 2 teaspoonful, 2 – 3 times a day, before or after food as directed by physician.
How long to take? It can be taken for upto 1 – 2 months, based on doctor’s advice.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Vidanga – False black pepper – Embelia ribes
Ativisha – Aconitum heterophyllum
Pippali – Long pepper fruit – Piper longum
Vacha – Acorus calamus
Haritaki
Shatapushpa – Indian Dill – Anethum sowa
Dhanyaka – Coriander – Coriandrum sativum
Ashwagandha – Winter cherry/ Indian Ginseng (root) – Withania somnifera (L.) Dunal.
Tankana Bhasma – Borax
20 mg each of
Shatavari – Asparagus racemosus root
Karkatashrungi – Pistacia integerrima
Musta – Nut grass (root) – Cyperus rotundus
Shunti – Ginger Rhizome – Zingiber officinalis
Twak – Cinnamon – Cinnamomum zeylanicum
Jiraka – Cumin – Cuminum cyminum
Muktashukti Pishti – 10 mg
Side effects and precautions
Side effects and precautions:
This should be taken only under medical supervision.
Over-dosage or taking medicine for a longer period of time, than prescribed may cause burning sensation in stomach and loose stools
keep out of reach and sight of children.
Store in a cool dry place.
Take this medicine only till the prescribed time, in the prescribed dose only.
