Manikya Ras is an Ayurvedic medicine in tablet form, used in the treatment of skin diseases. This medicine should only be taken under strict medical supervision. This medicine is most commonly used in north Indian Ayurvedic practice.

Manikya Ras Uses: It is used in the Ayurvedic treatment of skin diseases, gout, allergic skin conditions, dermatitis, fever, anemia, pruritis, hiccup, jaundice.
Effect on Tridosha – Balances Vata and Kapha
Dose and duration of use
Manikya Ras dosage:
125 mg once or twice a day, before or after food or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor. It is advised along with cold water or milk.
How long to use: It is administered for a period of one month.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Shuddha Gandhaka – Herbal purified Sulphur – 48 g
12 g of each of
Manashila – Purified and processed Realgar (Arsenic di sulphide)
Shuddha Parada – Herbal purified Mercury
Naga Bhasma – Lead Calx
Tamra Bhasma – Bhasma prepared from Copper
Abhraka Bhasma – Purified and processed Mica
Loha Bhasma – Bhasma prepared from Iron
Vataksheera – Latex of Nyagrodha – Ficus bengalensis – quantity sufficient for grinding for
Kashaya of Nimba – Neem – Azadirachta indica – quantity sufficient for grinding for three days

There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.

Manikya ras and rasa manikya ras are same?
No. They are different.
I have use rasa manikya made by Patanjani with dose 200mg BD. I feel very tied after one week. When I take liver test the SGOT and ALT increased to 320 and 350. What is cause of problem? The dosage or the medicine? Thank you for answer !
