Garbhapal Ras is an Ayurvedic medicine in tablet form, used in treatment of fever during pregnancy. This medicine should only be taken under strict medical supervision. This medicine is most commonly used in north Indian Ayurvedic practice.

Garbhapal Ras Uses: It is used in the Ayurvedic treatment of fever, bleeding during pregnancy. It is also used in puerperal care.

Dose and duration of use
Garbhpal Ras dosage:
125 mg once or twice a day, before or after food or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.
How long to use: It can be used upto 1 week month based on doctor’s prescription.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

Shuddha Hingula – Purified and processed Cinnabar (Mercury compound)
Naga Bhasma – Lead Calx
Vanga Bhasma – Tin Calx
Twak – Cinnamon – Cinnamomum zeylanicum
Patra – Cinnamomum tamala
Ela – Cardamom – Elettaria cardamomum
Shunti – Ginger Rhizome – Zingiber officinalis
Maricha – Black pepper – Piper nigrum
Pippali – Long pepper fruit – Piper longum
Dhanyaka – Coriander – Coriandrum sativum
Krishna Jiraka – Nigella sativa – Black cumin
Chavya – Java Long Pepper – Piper chaba
Draksha – Raisin – Vitis vinifera
Devadaru – Himalayan cedar (bark) – Cedrus deodara
Loha Bhasma – Bhasma prepared from Iron
Juice extract of Aparajita – Clitorea ternatea – quantity sufficient for grinding for seven days.

Garbhapal is safe in pregnancy. I am using it since 7 years in my practice. Metals used in this medicine undergo purification procedures, and are not harmful. But should be taken with Ayurvedic doctors advice.
