Patanjali Divya Madhunashini Vati is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Patanjali Ayurved Limited. It controls diabetes and cures complications arising from diabetes mellitus.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Patanjali Divya Madhunashini Vati:
Giloy – Guduchi – Tinospora cordifolia – Useful in treatment of diabetes, urinary tract disorders.
Karela – Bitter gourd – Momordica charantia – It has anti-diabetic activity.
Bel Patra – Aegle marmelos – It has potent hypoglycemic activity.
Gudmar – Gymnema sylvestre – It is a herb popularly known for its anti-diabetic action and is mentioned in Ayurvedic treatment of diabetes, renal calculi, cough, snake poison and jaundice.
Harad Chhoti – Chebulic myrobalan – Terminalia chebula
Gokharu – Tribulus terrestris – Useful in urinary tract disorders and diabetes.
Vat Jata – Ficus bengalensis – It is an Ayurveda plant used for the treatment of wounds, skin diseases, eye diseases, leucorrhea, diabetes and diarrhea.
Haldi
– Turmeric – Curcuma longa – Of all the herbs useful in diabetes, turmeric is the most beneficial.
Methi – Fenugreek – Trigonella foenum- graecum – An amino acid found in fenugreek (4HO-Ile) is responsible for anti diabetic activity.
Kudachhal – Kutaja – Holarrhena antidysenterica
Neem leaf – Nimba Patra – Azadirachta indica – It reduces / maintain blood sugar levels, it also helps to heal wounds quickly and relieves skin diseases such as diabetic carbuncles.
Ashwagandha – Indian ginseng – Withania somnifera – Because of its anti anxiety properties, being rich in anti oxidants and hypoglycemic activity, it is very useful in treating diabetes.
Baheda – Belleric myrobalan – Terminalia bellerica
Kalmegha – Andrographis paniculata – It is an Ayurvedic herb, used for the treatment of diseases of the liver, skin diseases, lack of appetite, fever and purification of the blood.
Kachur – Curcuma zedoaria
Neem – Nimba – Azadirachta indica
Amla – Goosebery – Emblica officinalis – It has anti-diabetic activity.
Shilajeet Shuddh – Asphaltum
Jamun – Jambu – Syzygium cumini – It is specially beneficial in controlling blood sugar levels in diabetics.
Kali Jeeri – Black Caraway – Centratherum anthelminticum
Chirayata – Swertia chirata – It lowers blood sugar levels.
Kutki – Picrorhiza kurroa – It is a powerful Ayurvedic herb used in treating mainly chronic fever, skin disorders and diabetes.
Babul – Acacia arabica – It has anti-diabetic activity.
Kuchla Shuddh – Strychnos nux- vomica – Useful in urinary disorders, diabetes.
Atish – Ativisha – Aconitum heterophyllum – Of all the herbs having digestive, carminative, absorbent and Tridosha balancing properties, Ativisha is the best.
Praval Pishti – prepared from Coral
Vang Bhasma – Tin Calx – Excellent in all urinary disorders and is good in gonorrhoea, strained micturition and diabetes, and develops virility and strength.
Lauh Bhasma – Iron Calx

Dose

Dosage of Patanjali Divya Madhunashini Vati:
1 to 2 tablets twice or thrice a day.
Or as directed by the physician.

Side effects

Side effects of Patanjali Divya Madhunashini Vati:
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?

Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

Can this medicine be continued while taking supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

With western medicines

Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic / modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take Allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then take the Ayurvedic medicine.

  1. I am House wife having sugar level 182 during fasting and 295 after lunch. Can I take Giloy, Madhunashini Vati and Alopathic medicne to gether.
