Ingredients of VathaKesari Thailam:
Kadukkai thole – Haritaki – Chebulic myrobalan – Terminalia chebula – 0.65 %
Vellaipoondu – Lashuna – Garlic – Allium sativum – 0.65 % – Useful in treating disorders of Vata dosha imbalance such as paralysis, neuralgia, constipation, bloating etc.
Kaattu milagu – Vella – Piper trioicum – 0.65 %
Perungkayam – Hingu – Ferula asafoetida – 0.65 % – It balances Vata dosha.
Gandhakam – Shuddha Gandhaka – Elemental Sulfur – 0.65 %
Koshtam [kottam] – Kusta – Saussurea lappa – 0.65 %
Chukku – Shunti – Ginger – Zingiber officinale – 0.65 % – It has analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities.
Milagu – Maricha – Black pepper – Piper nigrum – 0.65 %
Thippili – Pippali – Long pepper – Piper longum – 0.65 %
Kadugu – Rajika – Mustard – Brassica nigra – 0.65 % – It helps to improve blood circulation and warmth in cases of paralysis. It helps to improve joint flexibility in rheumatoid arthritis.

Erukkam elai saaru [erukkan paal] – Arka – Calotropis gigantea – 13.3 % Nalla ennai – Tila taila – Sesame oil – Sesamum indicum – 13.3 % – It helps to strengthen the bones, muscles and joints.
Amanakku ennai – Eranda taila – Castor oil – Ricinus communis – 13.3 % – It helps to improve blood circulation, to increase body warmth. It also helps to relieve pain and stiffness in joints.

- Thimiravadham [numbness]
- Nadukku vadham [shaking palsy]
- Paarisa vayu/ pakka vadham [paralysis]

- Amavadham [rheumatism]
- Also in oomai kayam [contusion]
- Thasaipidippu [muscle cramp].
- Post viral fever, when the patient complains of body, muscle and joint pains

Precaution if
you apply this oil over feet:
If you apply this oil on feet, make sure to wash off thouroughly with water or
wipe off with cloth. The oil can make you slippery while walking.
After applying, make sure there are no oil spills on the floor. This can make
the floor slippery.
Direction for use
Direction for use of Vata Kesari Thaila:
To be applied externally over the affected part & massaged.
Or as directed by the physician.

Side effects of Vadha Kesari Thailam:
There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.

Bottle of 100 ml, 250 ml & 500 ml.
During pregnancy, lactation
If
you were using this oil before pregnancy without any allergic reaction, you can
continue using this oil even during pregnancy.
If you have not used this product before and wish to use it during pregnancy,
better to consult a doctor because it can cause skin allergy in some rare
cases.
It is generally considered as safe to use during lactation, however consult
your doctor for the right advice.
Can
this product be applied after steam therapy?
No.
Oil is best applied before steam therapy. This is as per basic Ayurvedic
principles.
