Ingredients
Ingredients of Sivanar Vembu Kuzhi Thailam:
Sivanarvembu – Neeli – Indigofera aspalathoides – 36 %
Valuluvai arishi – Jyothishmathi – Celastrus paniculatus – 36 % – Useful in herpes, wound healing and skin diseases.
Akasa karudan kizhangu – Sukanasa – Corallocarpus epigaeus – 28 %
Indication
Indication of Sivanar Vembu Kuzhi Thailam:
- Karappan [chronic weeping eczema] in children frequently occurring on scalp & lower limbs.
- Naatpatta viranam [chronic ulcers]
- Visham [state of toxemia]
- Vandu kadi [insect bites]
- Seelaipun [bed sores]
- Katti [boils] etc.
- Also in kushtam [leprosy] &
- Megam [venereal diseases].
- Useful in mosquito bite scars, sun tan, white heads, sensitive skin.
Application on feet
Oil application over feet
Precaution if
you apply this oil over feet:
If you apply this oil on feet, make sure to wash off thouroughly with water or
wipe off with cloth. The oil can make you slippery while walking.
After applying, make sure there are no oil spills on the floor. This can make
the floor slippery.
Direction for use
Direction for use of Sivanar Vembu Kuzhi Thailam:
- Given internally in the dose of 5 – 10 drops with milk or Sivanarvembu Chooranam twice daily after food for 45 days.
- Also applied externally.
Or as directed by the physician.
Side effects and package
Side effects of Sivanar Vembu Kuzhi Thailam:
- There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
- Internally should be taken under medical supervision.

Bottle of 10 ml, 30 ml & 100 ml.
During pregnancy, lactation
If
you were using this oil before pregnancy without any allergic reaction, you can
continue using this oil even during pregnancy.
If you have not used this product before and wish to use it during pregnancy,
better to consult a doctor because it can cause skin allergy in some rare
cases.
It is generally considered as safe to use during lactation, however consult
your doctor for the right advice.
Can
this product be applied after steam therapy?
No.
Oil is best applied before steam therapy. This is as per basic Ayurvedic
principles.
