Naaga Parpa Tablet is a classical Siddha bhasma in tablet form, manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is used in the treatment of gastro-intestinal disorders.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Naaga Parpa Tablet:
Each 100 mg tablet contains –
Naga parpam – A prepared medicine – 100 % – It is used in the treatment of diabetes, non healing wounds, piles, malabsorption syndrome, helminthiasis, diarrhoea, jaundice, skin diseases, itches, visarpa, expectorating cough, asthma, whooping cough, bronchitis etc.
Velampisin – Babbula – Acacia nilotica – q.s. – It has anti-bacterial, anti-pyretic, anti-asthamatic, cytotoxic, anti-diabetic and anti-fungal activities.

Indication

Indication of Naaga Parpa Tablet:

  • Moolam [piles]
  • Pavuththiram [fistula]
  • Bedhi/ kazhichchal [diarrhoea]
  • Grahani [chronic diarrhea/ sprue syndrome/ malabsorption syndrome]
  • Seedha bedhi [dysentry]
  • Iraippirumal [bronchial asthma]
  • Irumal [cough/ bronchitis]
  • Ealai [bronchiectasis] etc.

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Naaga Parpa Tablet:

1 – 2 tablets with butter, ghee, Thetraan kottai legiyam or Karunai legiyam after food twice a day.
Or as directed by the physician.

Side effects of Naaga Parpa Tablet:

  • There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
  • Should be taken under strict medical supervision.
