Dosage
Adults – 1 – 2 tsp thrice a day.
Children – ¼ – 1/2 tsp thrice a day. or as directed by the physician.
How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.
Ingredients
Each 100 g contains –
Sitopaladi churna – 28 g – Ayurvedic medicine used in the treatment of respiratory diseases.
Ela – Cardamom – Elettaria cardamomum – 500 mg – It balances Kapha, useful in productive cough, asthma.
Vanshalochana – Bambusa arundinacaea – 770 mg
Twak – Cinnamon – Cinnamomum zeylanicum – 390 mg – It relieves allergic rhinitis, cough with sputum.
Madhu – Honey – 20 g – Useful in dyspnoea, chronic respiratory diseases. Sharkara – Sugar – 25.50 g Gel base – q.s.
Side effects of Madhuvaani Paste
There are no known side effects with this medicine. However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision. Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight. Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy. This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
