1 to 2 tsp daily with hot water, Or as directed by the physician.
How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
Ingredients
Tulasi – Holy basil – Ocimum tenuiflorum – 0.1 mg – It balances Kapha dosha, useful to relieve excess sputum production.
Vacha – Sweet flag – Acorus calamus – 0.1 mg – It has anti-microbial action. Shunti – Ginger – Zingiber officinale – 0.1 mg – Balances Kapha, useful in productive cough, asthma.
Maricha – Black Pepper – Piper nigrum – 0.1 mg – Decreases sputum production.
Pippali – Long Pepper – Piper longum – 0.1 mg – Useful in asthma, COPD and other respiratory diseases.
Karkata shringi – Pistacia chinensis – 0.1 mg – Useful in chronic respiratory disorders.
Vanapsa – Wood violet – Viola odorata – 0.25 mg
Somalata – Ephedra gerardiana – 0.5 mg – It has anti-asthmatic and anti-microbial activities.
Pushkaramula – Inula racemosa – 0.5 mg – Used in respiratory diseases like asthma, bronchitis, cough etc.
Hamsaraja – Adiantum lunulatum – 0.75 mg – It has anti-biotic, anti-inflammatory and anti-pyretic activities.
Madhuyashti – Licorice – Glycyrrhiza glabra – 0.75 mg – Good expectorant, expels phlegm from lungs, heals respiratory diseases.
Bharangi – Blue glory – Clerodendrum serratum
Vasa – Malabar nut – Justicia adhatoda – 1 mg – It has anti-tussive, anti-inflammatory, and broncho-dilatory properties.
Kantakari – Solanum surattense Burm – 1 mg – Used widely in the treatment of cough, cold, asthma and such other respiratory tract conditions.
Navasar satva – 0.15 mg
Dhanyaka satva – Coriander – Coriandrum sativum – 3.5 mg – Useful in Asthma, COPD, wheezing, breathing difficulty.
Flavoured sugar base – 0.5 mg
Kuf Tulsi Strong Syrup Side effects
There are no known side effects with this medicine. However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision. Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight. Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy. This product can be safely used during lactation period and in children for a limited period of few weeks time.
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
