65 – 125 mg twice daily with water or madhu (honey). Or as directed by a physician.
Ingredients
Raupya – Silver – It improves skin complexion, digestion power, body strength and immunity, intelligence.
Kulattha kwatha – Dolichos biflorus – Horse gram decoction – It has anti-histaminic, anti-oxidant, anti-obesity, and anti-urolithiatic properties.
Tila taila – Sesamum indicum – Sessame oil – It is an excellent skin moisturizer and skin softener.
Aja mutra – Goat’s urine – It is used in the treatment of ringworm, herpes, itching.
Side effects of Raupyamaksika Bhasma
There are no recorded side effects with this medicine. Should be taken under strict medical supervision.
With Other Medicines
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine
