Sigrupunarnavadi Choornam is a Ayurvedic herbal preparation in powder form. It is mainly used to treat inflammatory pain and swelling resulting from insect and animal stings and bites, toxic substances etc.

Each 10 gram is prepared with –
Shigru – Moringa oleifera – Bark powder – 1.000 gram – It is used as anti-inflammatory agent.
Punarnava – Boerhavia diffusa – Root powder – 1.000 gram – It improves blood circulation and lymphatic drainage at infected area.
Turmeric -Curcuma longa – Rhizome powder – 1.000 gram – It is best used to relieve inflammation.
Vacha – Acorus calamus – Rhizome powder – 1.000 gram
Sandalwood – Santalum album -Heartwood powder – 1.000 gram – It is the natural coolant and thus balances the pitta dosha at the inflamed site.
Raja Patha – Cyclea peltata- Rhizome powder – 1.000 gram
Ishwari – Aristolochia indica – Root powder – 1.000 gram – It is the best herb used in cases of poisoning.
Licorice -Glycyrrhiza glabra – Rhizome powder – 1.000 gram
Shirisha – Albizia lebbeck – Bark powder – 1.000 gram
Gokshura -Tribulus terrestris – Fruit powder – 1.000 gram

Usage
Sufficient quantity of Sigrupunarnavadi Choornam is taken and made into paste with juice of Moringa leaves. This paste is applied thickly over the affected site and left for 15 to 20 minutes without drying.

However, it is best to use this product under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
