Ingredients of Dabur Active Antacid Syrup:
Trivrit – Operculina turpethum – 3.2 g – Of all the herbs useful in easy purgation, Operculina turpethum is the best.
Bhringaraja – Eclipta alba – 4.16 g – Useful in indigestion and has hepato-protective activity.
Giloy – Guduchi – Tinospora cordifolia – 2.4 g – It promotes digestion and useful in anemia, jaundice, worm infestation etc.
Licorice – Yashti – Glycyrrhiza glabra – 3.2 g – Mild laxative, helps regulate acid secretion.
Calcium carbonate – Khatika – 15 g
Indications
Indications of Dabur Active Antacid Syrup:
Abdominal gas
Hyper-acidity
Burning sensation and discomfort in the stomach
Indigestion
Gastritis
Dose
Dosage of Dabur Active Antacid Syrup:
2 to 3 teaspoonful after food, twice a day.
Or as directed by the physician.
How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.

There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
Can this medicine be continued while taking supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic / modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take Allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then take the Ayurvedic medicine.

Is this suitable for diabetic patients? Does it has lot of sugar that could effect the diabetic patients if used for a long time?
As per my knowledge, if the blood sugar is very high, then better to avoid it. If the blood sugar level is under control, then it can be taken for 2 – 4 weeks.
