Kasturi Bhushan Ras is an Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Shree Baidyanath Ayurved Bhawan Private Limited. It is used in the treatment of cough, asthma, tuberculosis, fever etc.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Kasturibhushan Ras:
Ras sindoor – It is an Ayurvedic medicine used to boost immune system, to improve strength, in cardiac diseases, colicky abdominal pain, urinary tract related diseases, fistula in ano, inflammatory conditions, tuberculosis, chronic respiratory conditions, asthma etc.
Mica Calx – Abhraka Bhasma – It is used in Ayurvedic treatment of asthma, urinary disorders, skin diseases etc. 
Borax – Tankana – It is used in Ayurvedic treatment of lack of menstruation, cough, bronchitis etc. 
Musk – Kasturi – Moschus moschiferus – It is used in the treatment of respiratory diseases, psychiatric disorders, neurological diseases, nausea etc.
Ginger – Shunti – Zingiber officinale – It is useful in indigestion, asthma, nausea and more. 
Long pepper – Pippali – Piper longum – It has immuno-stimulant, anti-mycobacterial, anti-microbial and anti-oxidant activities.
Black pepper – Maricha – Piper nigrum – It has anti-bacterial, anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory activities.
Danti – Baliospermum montanum – It induces diarrhea and is useful in treating liver disorders, digestive disorders, hemorrhoids etc.
Bhang – Cannabis sativa – It is used in treating low digestion strength, IBS, insomnia and muscle pains.
Camphor – Karpura – Cinnamomum camphora – It is a rare herb which, being coolant, balances Kapha Dosha and reduces fat and cholesterol levels.
Bhavana with Ginger juice – Ardraka Rasa – Zingiber officinale

Asthma, respiratory disorders with difficulty in breathing

Diseases of head, neck, throat, eyes, shoulder – Urdhva jatrugata rogas
Intermittent fever – Vishama Jwara
Influenza, Typhoid fever

Dose

Dosage of Kasturibhushan Ras:
1 to 2 tablets twice a day along with ginger juice and honey.
Or as directed by the physician.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.

Side effects of Kasturibhushan Ras:
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.

Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

Can this medicine be continued while taking supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

With western medicines

Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic / modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
