Ingredients of Janma Ghunti Kadha:
Amaltas – Aragvadha – Cassia fistula – Of all the herbs that are useful in bringing about mild purgation, Aragvadha is the best.
Grapes – Draksha – Vitis vinifera – It improves nourishment and helps in easy bowel movement.
Fennel – Mishi – Foeniculum vulgare – Useful in the treatment of anorexia, indigestion, worm infestation, constipation etc.
Caraway – Carum carvi – Carminative, improves taste and digestion strength.
Sweet flag – Vacha – Acorus calamus – Digestive, improves digestion strength and speech.
False black pepper – Vidanga – Embelia ribes – It is widely used against intestinal worm infestation.
Honey – Madhu
Rose water – Rosa indica – It has cleansing, digestive stimulant and anti spasmodic properties.
Palasha – Butea monosperma – It promotes digestion and bowel movement, and useful in intestinal worms.
Figs – Udumbara – Ficus racemosa
Jujube Fruit – Badara – Ziziphus mauritiana – It relieves constipation.
Indian Senna – Markandika – Cassia angustifolia – It is mainly used as a blood purifier, laxative – for relieving constipation and to treat skin diseases.

Constipation
Loss of appetite, vomiting
Fever
Heartburn
Flatulence, intestinal worms
General weakness
Dose, duration of use
Dosage of Janm Ghunti Kadha:
Infants:
1 ml for 1 – 3 months,
2.5 ml for 4 – 6 months,
5 ml for 7 months and above,
or as directed by the physician.
How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.
Side effects
Side effects of Janm Ghunti Kadha:
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.

With Homeopathy and western medicine
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
Can this medicine be continued while taking supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic / modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take Allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then take the Ayurvedic medicine.
