Kanth Sudharak Vati is an Ayurvedic medicine in tablet form, useful in the treatment of sore throat, cough & hoarseness of voice etc. It is also called as Kantha Sudharak Bati.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Kanth Sudharak Vati:
Licorice extract – Mulethi satva – Glycyrrhiza glabra – Good expectorant, expels phlegm from lungs, heals respiratory diseases.
Camphor – Karpur – Cinnamomum camphora – It clears throat, relieves mouth dryness and bad breath problem.
Cardamom – Ela – Elettaria cardamomum – Useful in treatment of cough, cold, bad breath, asthma and chronic respiratory disorders.
Clove – Lavang – Syzygium aromaticum – It relieves tastelessness, bad breath and excessive sliminess of oral cavity.
Nutmeg – Javitri – Myristica fragrans – It has water absorbing, drying up, sputum absorbing qualities. Hence, as you can find below, it is very useful in clearing throat, cough, asthma etc.
Carom seed – Ajwain satva – Carum copticum
Saccharin

Indications

Indications of Kantha Sudharak Bati:

Dose, duration of use

Dosage of Kantha Sudharak Bati:
1 to 2 pills to be chewed 5 to 6 times a day.
Or as directed by the physician.

How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.

Side effects of Kantha Sudharak Bati:
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.

Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

Can this medicine be continued while taking supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

With western medicines

Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic / modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
