Aloe Vera – Kumari – Aloe barbadensis – It is useful to heal burn wounds, boils, acne, blisters, allergic skin disorders.
Bhringraj – Eclipta alba – Good anti inflammatory herb, relieves pain, swelling and redness.
Brahmi – Bacopa monnieri – Useful in skin diseases.
Haldi – Turmeric – Curcuma longa – It has anti-inflammatory, anti-septic, anti-bacterial and wound healing activities.
Jatamansi – Nardostachys jatamansi – It improves skin glow and complexion.
Karpura – Camphor – Cinnamomum camphora
Licorice – Yashtimadhu – Glycyrriza glabra – It is used in eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis etc. It improves skin complexion.
Indian madder – Manjeeth – Rubia cordifolia – It is extensively used in many skin diseases.
Nagarmotha – Mustha – Cyperus rotundus
Nimba – Neem – Azadirachta indica – It has wound healing, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial activities.
