Ingredients of Patanjali Divya Peedantak Vati:
Guggul shuddha – Balsamodendron mukul – It is a potent anti inflammatory herb, so it is helpful to relieve pain in muscles, joints, ligaments and bones. It strengthens bones and joints, so useful in fractures and dislocations.
Surenjan meethi – Suranjana – Colchicum luteum – It is used in the treatment / prevention of gout attacks.
Ashwagandha – Indian ginseng – Withania somnifera – Useful in neurological and neuro-muscular disorders like paralysis.
Shilajeet shuddha – Asphaltum
Kuchla shuddha – Strychnos nux-vomica
Nagarmotha – Mustha – Cyperus scariosus
Rasna – Pluchea lanceolata – It has anti-inflammatory activity.
Nirgundi – Vitex negundo – It is a very good muscle relaxant, pain relieving, anti mosquito, anti anxiety, anti asthma and so on, herb of Ayurveda.
Punarnava mool – Boerhavia diffusa – It is well known for its diuretic and swelling reducing activities.
Methi – Fenugreek – Trigonella foenum greacum – Useful in treating disorders of Vata Dosha imbalance such as neuralgia, paralysis, constipation, bloating etc.
Nisoth – Trivrit – Operculina turpethum
Shatavari – Asparagus racemosus
Hadjod – Cissus quadrangularis – It is very effective in strengthening the bones and joints.
Haldi – Turmeric – Curcuma longa – It has anti-inflammatory, immune-modulatory and anti-oxidant properties.
Sonth – Ginger – Zingiber officinale – It has analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities.
Kutki – Picrorhiza kurroa
Godanti bhasma – Gypsum Calx – Balances all the three Doshas, especially Pitta Dosha. It improves strength and immunity.
Muktashukti bhasma – Pearl Oyster Calx
Yograj guggul (classical product) – It is widely used in the Ayurvedic treatment for various types of arthritis.
Ajwain – Carom seed – Trachyspermum ammi
Praval pishti – Corallium rubrum – It provides natural calcium and vitamin C for the development and maintenance of healthy bones, teeth and cell membrane.

Dosage of Patanjali Divya Peedantak Vati:
One or two tablets twice a day.
Or as directed by the physician.
How long to use?
This product can be used for a period of 2 – 3 months of time, based on your doctor’s advice.

There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
Can this medicine be continued while taking supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic / modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take Allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then take the Ayurvedic medicine.
