Patanjali Liv Amrit Syrup is a proprietary Ayurvedic medicine manufactured by Patanjali Ayurved Limited. Useful in liver, spleen and digestive disorders.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Patanjali Liv Amrit Syrup:
Each 5 ml contains
Bhumi Amla – Phyllanthus niruri – 80 mg – It has anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory and hepato-protective activities.
Punarnava – Boerhavia diffusa – 60 mg – It is well known for its diuretic and swelling reducing activities.
Bhringraj – Eclipta alba – 50 mg – It is an important Ayurveda herb, widely used in hair fall treatment, liver disorders, skin diseases etc.
Makoy – Kakamachi – Black Nightshade – Solanum nigrum – 40 mg – It has hepato-protective action.
Arjun – Terminalia arjuna – 30 mg – It reduces fat and cholesterol levels.
Triphala – 30 mg
Amalaki – Gooseberry – Emblica officinalis
Haritaki – Chebulic myrobalan – Terminalia chebula
Vibhitaki – Belleric myrobalan – Terminalia bellerica
Sarpunkha – Tephrosia purpurea – 30 mg – It is a famous Ayurvedic herb used in liver cirrhosis and splenomegaly.
Guduchi – Giloy – Tinospora cordifolia – 24 mg – It is a famous Ayurvedic herb, used extensively in treatment for fever, diabetes, urinary tract disorders, anemia, jaundice, asthma, cardiac disorders etc.
Mulethi – Yashtimadhu – Licorice – Glycyrrhiza glabra – 22 mg
Kutki – Picrorhiza kurroa – 20 mg – It has anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anthelmintic, hepato-protective, choleretic, spasmolytic, insecticidal and laxative activities.
Daru haldi – Berberis aristata – 20 mg
Amaltas – Cassia fistula – 20 mg – Of all the herbs that are useful in bringing about mild purgation, Aragvadha is the best.
Kalmegh – Andrographis paniculata – 10 mg – It has anti-oxidant, anti-bacterial and hepato-protective activities.

Indications of Patanjali Liv Amrit Syrup:
Hepatitis
Indigestion
Flatulence
Bloating
Fullness of the stomach
Loss of appetite
Liver and Spleen disorders

Dose

Dosage of Patanjali Liv Amrit Syrup:
1 – 2 tablespoon twice or thrice a day.
Or as directed by the physician.

Side effects

Side effects of Patanjali Liv Amrit Syrup:
There are no known side effects with this medicine.
However, it is best to use this medicine under medical supervision.
Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Seek your doctor’s advice for its usage during pregnancy, lactation period and in children.

Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?

Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.

Can this medicine be continued while taking supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.

With western medicines

Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic / modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take Allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then take the Ayurvedic medicine.
