Ingredients of Patanjali Navratna Atta:
Whole wheat (gehun) – Godhuma – Triticum aestivum – It improves strength and immunity.
Barley (jau) – Yava – Hordeum vulgare – It is the best diet in diabetic patients. It instantly nourishes the body.
Amaranth (chaulai) – Maarisha – Amaranthus blitum – It is gluten free and it is a rich source of protein, lipids, calcium, potassium, phosphorus and dietary fiber.
Maize (makka) – Zea mays
Sorghum (jowar) – Sorghum bicolor – It is a well known millet used in obesity, diabetes etc. It has rich medicinal values due to its antioxidant phytochemicals.
Gram (Chana) – Chickpea – Cicer arietinum – It is used to treat abdominal burning sensation, enlargement of liver, mouth ulcers, inflammations, skin diseases, bronchitis, high cholesterol, flatulence, diabetes, hypertension etc.
Water Caltrop (singhara) – Shringataka – Trapa natans – It has anti-oxidant property and used as nutritional supplement.
