Ingredients of Patanjali Chhole Masala:
Cumin Powder – Jeeraka – Cuminum cyminum – Carminative, useful in treating bloating, gaseous distension of abdomen, worm infestation etc.
Coriander Powder – Dhanyaka – Coriandrum sativum
Big Elaichi Powder – Greater cardamom – Amomum subulatum – It is a herb mentioned in Ayurveda for the treatment of pain, to eradicate bad odor, increase the appetite, treat skin diseases, nausea.
Small Elaichi Powder – Lesser cardamom – Elettaria cardamomum – Being an excellent anti oxidant, it is used in treating blood pressure, asthma, indigestion, dysuria etc.
Mace Powder – Jatiphala – Myristica fragrans
Kachri Powder – Shati – Hedychium spicatum
Red Chilli Powder – Katveera – Capsicum annuum – It is used for the treatment of joint pain, anorexia, lack of appetite, fever, obesity etc.
Black Pepper Powder – Maricha – Piper nigrum
Saunth Powder – Shunti – Zingiber officinale – It is useful in indigestion, asthma, nausea and more.
Clove Powder – Lavanga – Syzygium aromaticum – Though it is hot to taste, it is cooling and soothing to stomach.
Amchur Powder – Amra – Mangifera indica – It balances Kapha and Vata Dosha.
Ajwain Powder – Carom seed – Carum copticum – It is used extensively in digestive diseases.
Anardana Powder – Pomegranate – Punica granatum – It increases digestion strength.
Salt (White Salt) – It increases taste and digestion strength.
