Indication of Heptowin Syrup:
- Jaundice
- Enlargement of liver and spleen
- Anemia
- Alcoholic liver disorders
Composition
Composition of Heptowin Syrup:
- Kiratatikta – Swertia chirata – It is widely used in the treatment of liver disorders.
- Bringaraja – Eclipta alba – Useful in anemia, early stage of liver diseases. It has hepato-protective activity.
- Bhumyamalaki – Phyllanthus niruri – It is an important liver protecting Ayurvedic herb used for the treatment of fever, inflammation of spleen and liver, fractures, jaundice and skin diseases.
- Sarapunkha – Tephrosia purpurea – It is a famous Ayurvedic herb used in liver cirrhosis and splenomegaly.
Dose
Dosage of Heptowin Syrup:
- Children- 5 ml to be taken twice daily with water.
- Adults- 10 ml to be taken twice daily with water.
Or as directed by the physician.
Side effects and package
Side effects of Heptowin Syrup:
- There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
- Should be taken under medical supervision.
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
