Gassiwin Tablet is a proprietary Siddha medicine manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It relieves gastritis and indigestion effectively.

Composition

Composition of Gassiwin Tablet:
Each 500 mg tablet contains –

  • Haritaki – Chebulic myrobalan – Terminalia chebula – 44.12 % – It improves digestion strength.
  • Saindhava lavana – Rock salt – 2.94 % – It improves digestion without causing stomach irritation, without worsening gastritis and relieves constipation, bloating.
  • Jeeraka – Cumin – Cuminum cyminum – 5.88 % – Carminative, absorbent, useful in malabsorption syndrome and diarrhea.
  • Ajamoda – Celery – Trachyspermum ammi – 8.82 % – Useful in the treatment of bloating, gaseous distension of abdomen, anorexia, indigestion etc.
  • Pippali – Long pepper – Piper longum – 23.54 % – Useful in indigestion, relieves Ama.
  • Shunti – Ginger – Zingiber officinale – 14.70 % – Absorbent. Being hot in nature, it helps to absorb excess moisture especially in intestines.
  • Shunti swarasa – Ginger juice – Zingiber officinale – q.s.
  • Excipients – q.s.

Dose

Dosage of Gassiwin Tablet:
1 – 2 tablets with warm water after food,
or as directed by the physician.
