Digoewin Tablet is a proprietary Siddha medicine manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu.  It improves appetite.

Composition

Composition of Digoewin Tablet:

Each 500 mg tablet contains –

  • Haritaki – Chebulic myrobalan – Terminalia chebula – 77.60 % – It improves digestion strength and promotes bowel movement.
  • Shunti – Ginger – Zingiber officinale – 2.80 % – It improves digestion strength and taste.
  • Lavana – Sodium chloride – 2.80 %
  • Saindhava lavana – Rock salt – 2.80 % – It aids in digestion by stimulating digestive fire, balances natural production of HCl, and is prescribed for laxative and digestive disorders.
  • Yavani – Carom seeds – Carum copticum – 2.80 % – It is used extensively in digestive diseases.
  • Maricha – Black pepper – Piper nigrum – 2.80 % – Because of its Chedana (cutting) and Shoshana (drying) effects, it increases digestion strength and balances Kapha and Vata Dosha.
  • Chitraka – Plumbago zeylanica – 2.80 % – It is one of the powerful digestive and carminative herbs of Ayurveda.
  • Pippali – Long pepper – Piper longum – 2.80 % – Useful in the treatment of indigestion, anemia, asthma, cough etc.
  • Jambeera – Lemon – Citrus limon – q.s. – It helps to relieve excessive accumulation of Kapha in stomach, leading to vomiting.
  • Shunti swarasa – Ginger juice – Zingiber officinale – q.s.
  • Tandulodaka – Rice water – q.s.
  • Takra – Butter milk – q.s. – It improves digestion and mitigates kapha and vata.

Dose

Dosage of Digoewin Tablet:
1 – 2 tablets, after food.
