Composition
Composition of Deliwin Legiyam:
Each 5 g Legiyam contains –
- Shunti – Ginger – Zingiber officinale – 4.20 % – It improves taste and digestion strength.
- Pippali – Long pepper – Piper longum – 2.10 %
- Ashwagandha – Indian ginseng – Withania somnifera – 2.10 % – It improves strength and immunity.
- Yastimadhu – Licorice – Glycyrrhiza glabra – 2.10 %
- Kulanjana – Alpinia calcarata – 2.10 %
- Varuna – Crataeva religiosa – 2.10 %
- Talispatra – Taxus baccata – 2.10 % – It is aromatic, appetizer, expectorant and mildly laxative.
- Chavya – Piper cubeba – 2.10 %
- Satahva – Dill seed – Anethum sowa – 4.20 % – It acts as galactogogue.
- Ajamoda – Celery – Trachyspermum ammi – 2.10 %
- Krishna jeeraka – Black caraway – Nigella sativa – 2.10 % – It is widely used in after delivery care of the mother.
- Madhusnuhi – Smilax china – 1.05 %
- Rasna – Alpinia galanga – 1.05 % – It is a herb mentioned in Ayurveda for the treatment of pain, indigestion, gout, cough and general debility.
- Bhumi-jambuka – Premna herbacea – 1.05 %
- Pippali – Long pepper – Piper longum – 1.05 % – It has all qualities of a typical spice like useful in indigestion, asthma, cough etc.
- Ushira – Vetiveria zizanioides – 1.05 %
- Katuki – Picrorhiza kurroa – 1.05 % – It is a powerful Ayurvedic herb used in treating mainly chronic fever, skin disorders and diabetes.
- Hingu – Ferula asafoetida – 2.10 %
- Lavanga – Clove – Syzygium aromaticum – 1.05 % – It improves taste and digestion strength.
- Jatamamsi – Spikenard – Nardostachys jatamansi – 2.10 % – It is a famous Ayurvedic herb used in neuro-psychiatric diseases and skin diseases.
- Shatavari – Asparagus racemosa – 2.10 % – It helps mother to lactate more, useful in treating male and female infertility, induces sleep, calms mind and stomach and much more.
- Dhanyaka – Coriander – Coriandrum sativum – 2.10 %

- Ela – Cardamom – Elettaria cardamomum – 2.10 % – Being an excellent anti oxidant, it is used in treating blood pressure, asthma, indigestion, dysuria etc.
- Musta – Cyperus rotundus – 2.10 % – Of all the herbs useful as absorbent, digestive and carminative, Musta is the best.
- Taala – Borassus flabellifer – 25.26 % – It is an Ayurvedic herb used for the treatment of difficulty in micturition, general debility, diarrhea, psychiatric conditions, hepatomegaly and acidity.
- Ghrita – Ghee – 12.63 %
- Madhu – Honey – 6.30 %
- Jala – Water – q.s.
Dose
Dosage of Deliwin Legiyam:
- 5 g twice daily, after food.
- Can be used for 6 months to 1 year after delivery.
Or as directed by the physician.
Side effects and package
Side effects of Deliwin Legiyam:
- There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
- Should be taken under medical supervision.
- Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
