Composition

Composition of Cofnil-H9 Syrup:

  • Yastimadhu – Licorice – Glycyrrhiza glabra – Good expectorant, expels phlegm from lungs, heals respiratory diseases.
  • Rasna – Alpinia galanga – Useful in cough, cold, asthma and chronic respiratory diseases.
  • Thulasi – Basil – Ocimum sanctum – Balances Kapha dosha, useful to relieve excess sputum production.
  • Vasa – Malabar nut – Adhatoda vasica – It has anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, broncho-dilatory and anti-tussive properties.
  • Jatiphala – Nutmeg – Myristica fragrans – Useful in cough, cold, asthma, COPD and other respiratory diseases.
  • Shunti – Ginger – Zingiber officinale
  • Pippali – Long pepper – Piper longum – It has anti-mycobacterial, immuno-stimulant and anti-microbial activities.
  • Nimbooka – Lemon – Citrus limon – It soothes the mucosa of the throat. It helps to relieve excessive accumulation of Kapha.
  • Navasagara – Ammonium chloride
  • Karpoora – Camphor – Cinnamomum camphora

Dose

Dosage of Cofnil-H9 Syrup:
Children: 5 ml with lukewarm water 2 – 3 times a day.
Adults: 10 ml with lukewarm water 2 – 3 times a day.
Or as directed by the physician.

Side effects and package

Side effects of Cofnil-H9 Syrup:

  • There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
  • Safe in pregnancy and lactation.
  • Suited for all age groups.
    Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
