Maasikkai Ennai is a classical Siddha medicine in oil form manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is used for treating inflammatory conditions of GI tract.

Ingredients of Maasikkai Ennai:
Masikkai – Mayaphala – Quercus infectoria oliver – 10 % – It is an Ayurvedic herb used for the treatment of wounds, control bleeding, piles, oral diseases, diarrhea, dysmenorrhea and cases of plant poisoning.
Thengai paal – Narikela – Coconut – Cocos nucifera – 90 %
Indication
Indications of Maasikkai Ennai:
- Vaaipun [glossitis]
- Kudarpungal [ulcerative colitis/ulcerative colonitis] etc.
Application on feet

Precaution if
you apply this oil over feet:
If you apply this oil on feet, make sure to wash off thouroughly with water or
wipe off with cloth. The oil can make you slippery while walking.
After applying, make sure there are no oil spills on the floor. This can make
the floor slippery.
Direction for use
Direction for use of Maasikkai Ennai:
- 5 – 10 ml internally after food twice daily.
- Can be used externally also.
Or as directed by the physician.
Side effects and package

- There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
- Should be taken internally under medical supervision.

Bottle of 100 ml, 250 ml & 500 ml.
During pregnancy, lactation
If
you were using this oil before pregnancy without any allergic reaction, you can
continue using this oil even during pregnancy.
If you have not used this product before and wish to use it during pregnancy,
better to consult a doctor because it can cause skin allergy in some rare
cases.
It is generally considered as safe to use during lactation, however consult
your doctor for the right advice.
Can
this product be applied after steam therapy?
No.
Oil is best applied before steam therapy. This is as per basic Ayurvedic
principles.
