Pavazham – Pravala – Corallium rubrum – 100 % – It is used in treatment of eye disorders, pthisis, chronic respiratory diseases, cough, cold, bleeding disorders etc.
Processed in –
Thelkoddukku juice – Vrischikali swarasa – Heliotropium indicum – q.s.
Indication
Indication of Pavazha Parpam:
- Diseases due to vitiation of 96 vagai kaba noigal [kaba dosham of 96 types]
- Eelai [bronchospasm/bronchiectasis]
- Kshaya kaasam
- Mandhara kaasam [tuberculosis]
- Sura noighal [fever]
- Sori [itches]
- Sirangu [scabies]
- Karappan [erysipelas].
Dose
Dosage & Adjuvants of Pavazha Parpam:
200 – 400 mg twice a day with milk, ghee or honey after food.
Or as directed by the physician.
