VadhaRaakshasan Tablet is a classical Siddha medicine in tablet form, manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is used in the treatment of vatha disorders.

Ingredients

Ingredients of VadhaRaakshasan Tablet:
Each 100 mg tablet contains –
Rasam – Parada – Elemental mercury – 20 %
Gandhagam – Gandhaka – Elemental Sulphur – 20 %
Kaantham – Kantha loha – Magnetite ore – 20 %
Appiragaparpam – Abhraka bhasma – Mica calx – 20 % – It is used as rejuvenating agent to treat brain and neuro-psychiatric disorders, bifrontal atrophy, trigeminal neuralgia, neuropathy etc.
Thamiraparpam – Thamra bhasma – Copper Calx – 20 %

Vellaisaranai saaru – Punarnava – Trianthema decandra – q.s. – It is well known for its diuretic and swelling reducing activities.
Seendhilkodi saaru – Guduchi – Giloy – Tinospora cordifolia – q.s. – It is a well known immuno-modulator herb used in the correction of auto-immunity.
Kodiveliver saaru – Chitraka – Plumbago indica – q.s.
Thulasi saaru – Thulasi – Holy Basil – Ocimum sanctum – q.s.
Nellikkai kiyazham – Amalaki – Gooseberry – Emblica officinalis – q.s. – Of all the anti aging herbs – Amla is the best.
Kadukkai kiyazham – Haritaki – Chebulic myrobalan – Terminalia chebula – q.s.
Thanrikkai kiyazham – Vibhitaki – Belleric myrobalan – Terminalia bellerica – q.s.
Vellaisaranai elaisaandhu – Punarnava – Trianthema decandra – q.s. Kodiveliver kiyazham – Chitraka – Plumbago zeylanica – q.s. – Of all the herbs that are carminative, digestive, useful in hemorrhoids, anti inflammatory, and anti colic, leadwort is the best.

Indication of VadhaRaakshasan Tablet:

  • Neurological conditions like – pakkavadham/pakshavadham [paralysis]
  • Naatpattakeelvadham [chronic arthritis]
  • Naatpattamoottuvadham [chronic rheumatism]
  • Various types of vatharogangal [nervous disorders]
  • Sanni/janni [vitiated doshas & delirium].
  • Post viral fever, when the patient complains of body, muscle and joint pains
    Bursitis,  
  • Bursitis trochanterica,
  • Shoulder dislocation pain

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of VadhaRaakshasan Tablet:
1 – 2 pills with honey or water after food 2 – 3 times a day.
Or as directed by the physician.
