Ingredients of Pavazham Tablet:
Each 500 mg tablet contains –
Amukkara chooranam – 70 % – It is a classical Siddha medicine mainly used in respiratory infections.
Aya chendooram – A prepared medicine – 10 %
Pravala parpam – A prepared medicine – 20 % – It is used in treatment of eye disorders, pthisis, chronic respiratory diseases, cough, cold etc.
Thoothuvalai kasayam – Alarka Kashaya – Solanum trilobatum – q.s. Kandankathiri kasayam – Kantakari Kashaya – Solanum surattense – q.s. – It is a very useful Ayurveda herb, used widely in the treatment of cough, cold, asthma and such other respiratory tract conditions.
Thulasi kasayam – Thulasi kashaya – Ocimum sanctum – q.s. – It balances Kapha dosha, useful to relieve excess sputum production.
Indication
Indication of Pavazham Tablet:
- All kinds of respiratory problems & particularly in challi [bronchitis]
- Irumal [cough]
- Varattu irumal [dry cough]
- Natpatta challi [chronic bronchitis].
Dose
Dosage & Adjuvants of Pavazham Tablet:
2 tablets 2 – 3 times a day after food with water.
Or as directed by the physician.

- There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
- Should be taken under medical supervision.
