Nilavembu Tablet is a classical Siddha medicine in tablet form, manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is used in the treatment of fever.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Nilavembu Tablet:
Each 500 mg tablet contains –
Vensivithai – Trivrith – Ipomoea turpethum – 1.72 % – It is used in treatment of Kapha and Pitta dominant disorders.
Vellerugu – Nagajihva – Enicostemma littorale – 1.72 %
Nilavembu kudineer chooranam – A prepared medicine – 86 % – It is a good anti-pyretic.
Kalamega Narayana chooranam – A prepared medicine – 1.89 %
Linga chendooram – A prepared medicine – 1.89 %
Velampisin – Babbula – Acacia nilotica – 6.80 % – It has anti-malarial, anti-microbial, anti-pyretic, anti-asthamatic, cytotoxic, anti-diabetic and anti-oxidant activities.

Indication

Indication of Nilavembu Tablet:

  • All types of surangal [fever]
  • Sanni [delirium].

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Nilavembu Tablet:
1 – 2 tablets twice daily with honey or milk after food,
or as directed by the physician.

Side effects and package

Side effects of Nilavembu Tablet:

  • There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
  • Should be taken under medical supervision.
