Naval Kottai Tablet is a classical Siddha medicine in tablet form, manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is mainly used in the treatment of diabetes.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Naval Kottai Tablet:
Each 500 mg tablet contains –
Navalkottai – Jambu – Jamun – Syzygium cumini – 91 % – It is specially beneficial in controlling blood sugar levels in diabetics.
Velampisin – Babbula – Acacia nilotica – 9 % – It has anti-diabetic, anti- helminthic and anti-bacterial activities.
Pangampalai saru [adutheendapalai] – Kitamari – Aristolochia bracteata – q.s. – It has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory activities.

Indication

Indication of Naval Kottai Tablet:

  • Madhumegam [diabetes]
  • Athithagam [excessive thirst]
  • Navartachi [polydypsia]
  • Athimoothiram [polyuria]
  • Seriya kalichal [diarrhea]
  • Idapattu eeral veekkam [splenomegaly]
  • Padar thamarai [ring worm].

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Naval Kottai Tablet:
2 tablets with water before food twice daily,
or as directed by the physician.

  • There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
  • Should be taken under medical supervision.
