Maha Eladhi Kuligai is a classical Siddha medicine in tablet form, manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is used in the treatment of pitta disorders.

Ingredients of Maha Eladhi Kuligai:
Each 100 mg tablet contains –
Ela aris – Ela – Cardamom – Elettaria cardamomum – 4.44 %
Lavangam – Lavanga – Clove – Syzygium aromaticum – 4.44 % – Useful in anorexia, indigestion, bloating, gaseous distension of abdomen, abdominal colic pain etc.
Vaalmilagu – Kankola – Piper cubeba – 4.44 % – It is a herb mentioned in the Ayurveda pharmacopoeia for the treatment of cough, swelling, dysmenorrhea, erectile dysfunction and indigestion.
Sandhanam – Chandana – Sandal wood – Santalum album – 4.44 % – It is a coolant, very useful in gastritis, burning sensation in hands and feet.
Vettiver – Usheera – Vetiveria zizanioides – 4.44 % – It is widely used in treating fever, dysuria, burning sensation, fatigue syndrome, skin disorders etc.

• All types of fevers including thapa suram [fever with intense heat]
• Thaga suram [fever accompanied by severe thirst]
• Kan noi [eye diseases]
• Kankasam
• Kaamaalai [jaundice]
• Paandu [anemia]
• Sobai [edema]
• Kalladaippu [urinary calculi]
• Kadumkaaichchal [hectic fever]
• Thondaikattu [sore throat]
• Neerizhivu [diabetes]
• Erivu [burning sensation]
• Kaippudan koodiya vaandhi  [vomiting with intense bitterness] etc.
• If taken for 6 weeks, promotes a right complexion, good health, longevity, good memory power & sound metallic voice.

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Maha Eladhi Kuligai:
1 – 2 pills with tender coconut water, honey, milk, sugar or lime juice after food twice daily for 45 days.
Or as directed by the physician.
