Kungumapoo Tablet is a classical Siddha medicine in tablet form, manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is used in the treatment of gastro-intestinal disorders.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Kungumapoo Tablet:
Each 100 mg tablet contains –
Chukku – Shunti – Ginger – Zingiber officinale – 7.14 % – Useful in indigestion, anorexia, gas, fullness of abdomen, bloating, abdominal colic pain, constipation etc.
Venmilagu – Maricha – Black pepper – Piper nigrum – 7.14 % – It improves taste and digestion strength.
Valmilagu – Kankola – Piper cubeba – 7.14 % – Digestive, relieves ama dosha.
Thippili – Pippali – Long pepper – Piper longum – 7.14 % – It has all qualities of a typical spice like useful in indigestion, asthma, cough etc. 
Ilavangam – Lavanga – Clove – Syzygium aromaticum – 7.14 %
Omam – Yavani – Carom seed – Trachyspermum ammi – 7.14 % – It is used extensively in digestive diseases.
Elam – Ela – Cardamom – Elettaria cardamomum – 7.14 % – Being an excellent anti oxidant, it is used in treating blood pressure, asthma, indigestion, dysuria etc.
Kottam – Kusta – Saussurea lappa – 7.14 %
Venkaram – Tankana – Sodium biborate – 7.14 % – It is used in treating food poisoning, abdominal colic pain. It improves digestion power, relieves bloating.
Lingam – Hingula – Red sulphide of mercury – 7.14 %

Indication

Indication of Kungumapoo Tablet:

• Aiya kunmam [type of peptic ulcer]
• Natpatta malakkattu [chronic constipation]
• Athi viyarvai [hyper activity of the sweat glands].

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Kungumapoo Tablet:
1 tablet after food twice daily,
or as directed by the physician.
