Nannari Manapagu is a classical Siddha medicine manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is used to treat pitta disorders.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Nannari Manapagu:
Paru nannari – Sariva – Indian sarsaparilla – Hemidesmus indicus – 25 % – It is widely used in the treatment of oligospermia, gastritis, anorexia, menorrhagia etc.
Sarkkarai – Sharkara – Saccharum officinarum – 75 %
Thanneer – Jala – Water – q.s.

Indication of Nannari Manapagu:

  • Pitha noigal [pitta disorders]
  • Athi thagam [excessive thirst]
  • Udalerichal [body heat]
  • Eri gunmam [acid peptic disorder]
  • Vanthi [vomiting]
  • Vellai [leucorrhoea]
  • Vettai [one type of STD].

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Nannari Manapagu:
5 – 10 g with water after food twice daily,
or as directed by the physician.

Side effects, package

Side effects of Nannari Manapagu:

  • There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
  • Should be taken under medical supervision.
    Seek your doctor’s advice if you are diabetic. In diabetic patients, only if the blood sugar is under good control, then this medicine can be given.
