Ingredients of Amukkara Choorana Tablet:
Nattu amukkara kizhangu – Ashwagandha – Indian ginseng – Withania somnifera – 25.20 % – It improves strength and immunity. Useful in asthma, chronic respiratory diseases.
Chukku – Shunti – Ginger – Zingiber officinale – 12.60 % – It has anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties.
Milagu – Maricha – Black pepper – Piper nigrum – 3.15 %
Thippili – Pippali – Long pepper – Piper longum – 6.30 % – It has immuno-stimulant, anti-mycobacterial and anti-microbial activities.
Elam – Cardamom – Elettaria cardamomum – 1.57 %
Sirunagapoo – Nagakesara – Messua ferrea – 0.79 %
Kirambu – Lavanga – Clove – Syzygium aromaticum – 0.39 % – Useful in asthma, COPD, wheezing, breathing difficulty, cough, cold etc.
Sarkarai – Sharkara – Saccharum officinarum – 50 %
Velam pisin – Babbula – Acacia arabica – q.s. – It has anti-bacterial, anti-pyretic, anti-asthamatic and anti-oxidant properties.

- Mega vagaigal [megam]
- Asthisuram
- Asthivettai
- Vettai [gonorrhoea]
- Suvasam/iraippu [wheezing/spasm]
- Eelai [pneumonia]
- Ooral [severe itching/pruritus]
- Mega paandu etc.
Dose
Dosage & Adjuvants of Amukkara Choorana Tablet:
2 – 4 tablets with milk, water or ghee after food 2 – 3 times a day.
Or as directed by the physician.
