Adathodai Manapagu is a classical Siddha medicine manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is used to treat various types of vatha disorders.

Ingredients

Ingredients of Adathodai Manapagu:
Adathodai elai – Vasa – Malabar nut – Adhatoda vasica – 50 % – It has anti-inflammatory, broncho-dilatory, anti-microbial and anti-tussive properties.
Karuppatti – Taala – Borassus flabellifer – 50 % – It is an Ayurvedic herb used for the treatment of difficulty in micturition, general debility, diarrhea, psychiatric conditions, hepatomegaly and acidity. 
Thanneer – Jala – Water – q.s.

Indication

Indication of Adathodai Manapagu:

  • Irumal [cough]
  • Various types of suram [fever]
  • Vairu noi [stomach disorders]
  • Aiya noi [kappa disorders]
  • Vali noi [vatha disorders].

Dose

Dosage & Adjuvants of Adathodai Manapagu:
5 – 10 g with boiled water after food twice a day,
or as directed by the physician.

Side effects, package

Side effects of Adathodai Manapagu:

  • There are no recorded side effects with this medicine.
  • Should be taken under medical supervision.
