Vilamichan ver – Rohisha – Cymbopogon jwarancusa – 6.66 % – It is an Ayurvedic plant used for the treatment of fever, joint pain, respiratory diseases, anorexia, intestinal worms, skin diseases and diarrhea.
Siruganchoori ver – Dusparsha – Tragia involucrata – 6.66 %
Vilva ver – Bilva – Bael – Aegle marmelos – 6.66 %
Pathiri ver – Patala – Stereospermum suaveolens – 6.66 % – It balances all the three doshas.
Adhimadhuram – Yastimadhu – Licorice – Glycyrrhiza glabra – 6.66 % – It has anti-pyretic, anti-allergic and anti-oxidant properties.
Kostam – Kushta – Saussurea lappa – 6.66 %
Nannari – Sariva – Indian sarsaparilla – Hemidesmus indicus – 6.66 % – It balances all the three doshas and useful in fever.
Nilavarai – Swarnapatri – Indian senna – Cassia angustifolia – 6.66 % – It is Pitta shodhaka (removes excessive Pitta from body).

Thumbai ver – Dronapushpi – Leucas aspera – 6.66 % – It is widely used in treating liver disorders, jaundice, asthma, cough, cold etc.
Perichankai – Kharjura – Date palm – Phoenix dactylifera – 6.66 % – It is a plant mentioned in Ayurveda for the treatment of general debility, dysuria, gingivitis, fever and thirst.
Yanai thippili – Chavya – Piper retrofractum – 6.66 % – Its root and fruit are useful in treating indigestion, abdominal colic, poisoning, anorexia etc.
Nellivattral – Amalaki – Gooseberry – Emblica officinalis – 6.66 %
Chukku – Shunti – Ginger – Zingiber officinale – 6.66 % – It is useful in indigestion, asthma, nausea and more.
Indication
Indications of Pitha Sura Kudineer Chooranam:
21 types of azhal suram [all types of fever due to pitha disorders].
Dose
Dosage & Adjuvants of Pitha Sura Kudineer Chooranam:
- Take 5 g of the powder mix it with 300 ml of water, boil & reduce to 30 ml. And give it by addition with honey twice daily, or as directed by the physician.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
