Mandoorathi Kudineer Chooranam is a classical Siddha medicine in powder form used for making respective Kashaya, manufactured by SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company India Ltd., Erode- Tamil Nadu. It is mainly used to treat anemia.

Ingredients of Mandoorathi Kudineer Chooranam:
Purified mandooram – Mandoora bhasma – Admixture of elemental iron – 23.09 % – It is used in treatment of Anemia, Jaundice, anorexia, inflammatory conditions, injuries.
Dry maavilaithulir – Amra – Mango – Mangifera indica – 14.82 %
Dry manjal karisalai – Peeta bringa – Wedelia calendulacea – 14.82 % – It is an important Ayurveda herb, widely used in hair fall treatment, liver disorders, skin diseases etc.
Dry keezhanelli – Bhumiamalaki – Phyllanthus niruri – 14.82 % – It is used for the treatment of fever, inflammation of spleen and liver, fractures, fever, jaundice and skin diseases.
Neermulli samoolam – Kokilaksha – Asteracantha longifolia – 14.82 % – It has hepato-protective activity.
Seeragam – Jeeraka – Cumin – Cuminum cyminum – 17.65 %

Indications of Mandoorathi Kudineer Chooranam:
- Paandu [anemia]
- Odhal/sobai [oedema]
- Kamaalai [jaundice]
- Peruvayiru/mahodaram [ascites]
- Veekam [swellings]
- Vayittru katti [abdominal tumor]
- Kalleeral manneeral veekkam [enlargement of liver & spleen]
- Vayitru porumal [flatulence].
Dose
Dosage & Adjuvants of Mandoorathi Kudineer Chooranam:
- Take 5 – 10 g of the chooranam, add 300 ml of water, boil & reduce to 50 ml. it should be taken twice daily before food.
Or as directed by the physician.
With western medicines
Seek your doctor’s advice if you are taking this product along with other western (allopathic/modern) medicines. Some Ayurvedic herbs can interact with modern medicine.
If both Ayurvedic and allopathic medicines are advised together, then it is best to take allopathic medicine first, wait for 30 minutes and then, after a gap of 15 – 30 minutes, take Ayurvedic medicine or as directed by the physician.
Can this be used while taking Homeopathic medicine?
Yes. This product does not react with homeopathic medicine.
With supplements like multivitamin tablets, Omega 3 fatty acids etc?
Yes. Generally, this product goes well with most of the dietary supplements. However, if you are taking more than one product per day, please consult your doctor for an opinion.
